Ardmaddy Estate offers a peaceful and beautiful escape from modern life, home to many of  the UK’s now rare nature (eg Golden and Sea Eagles, red squirrels, pine martens, otters, curlews and cuckoos to list a few), wonderfully clean fresh sea air and unspoilt dark skies with abundant stars on clear nights.  The highly rated cottages, set in secluded coastal locations with enclosed gardens, offer stunning views of the ever-changing sea and nearby islands and are designed for comfortable easy living.

Each cottage is well-equipped with everything you will need, including broadband WiFi, a landline telephone, Smart TV, DVD player, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The kitchens are fully stocked with necessary equipment for those wanting to cook.

Outdoor amenities include garden furniture, a barbecue, drying line, and a shed for equipment storage. Ample car parking is available.

Rentals cover electricity (but not for EV charging which is by separate arrangement), heating oil, towels, and linen, with children’s cots and high chairs available on request.

Cottage guests are welcome to visit the Castle Gardens where they can also purchase fresh fruit and vegetables in season; or request for a box of seasonal produce to be delivered to their cottage.

Additional facilities at Caddleton and The Stables include private games rooms and there is an outdoor tennis court and options for boat rentals and fly fishing. The estate spans over 3,000 acres, providing ample space for exploration with an extensive network of hill and woodland tracks for walking and cycling.

Each cottage is on the Estate’s private water supply.
